Can a group order and pay separately?

Yes. Everyone at the table joins the same session from their own phone and orders together in one round. When it is time to pay they split the bill equally, by dish or by custom amounts, and each person pays their share.

How does the free trial work?

Sign up for either plan and use goDishy completely free for your first month. Cancel at any time.

What can the AI Pro plan actually do?

The AI Pro plan connects your restaurant data to Claude, Anthropic’s AI. Ask in plain language — like “Give me the most sold items this week” or “Graph this week’s revenue” — and get an answer straight away, without building a report.

Is the subscription per location or total?

The subscription covers your entire account, including all your branches. Whether you have 1 location or 10, you pay one flat monthly rate.

How does payment work for guests?

Guests can request payment directly from their table session. Staff receives the payment notification and handles settlement using your existing POS or through the integrated digital payment flow.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No long-term contracts. goDishy operates on a month-to-month subscription. You can cancel at any time without penalty.

Do I need special hardware?

All you need is an internet connection and a device (tablet, iPad, or laptop) for the Kitchen Dashboard. QR codes are generated digitally and can be printed on any standard or thermal printer — no special hardware required.

What if a guest closes their browser mid-order?

No problem — the table session stays open until your staff closes it after payment. Guests can rescan the same QR code to pick up right where they left off. The whole table can share the code and rejoin at any time during the session.

Can someone hijack another table's QR code?

Each QR code is tied to a single session opened by your restaurant. Once a session is active at a table, only your staff can close it — no one else can open a new session on that code. When the session ends, the code becomes invalid and a fresh one is printed for the next guests.
